To manage the provision of strategic communication, public relations, events management and marketing services that promote the company's profile, create awareness as a thought leader and preferred business partner and effectively position the company in the sector and broader community.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide input to Strategic Plan (SP).
- Cascade strategic plan to the Marketing and Communications Strategy and Operational Plan.
- Provide operational input to Annual Performance Plan (APP) for the Marketing and Communications function.
- Articulate a compelling purpose, vision and mission for the Marketing and Communications function linked to the Corporate Service’s purpose, vision and mission.
- Measure and review the Marketing and Communications function’s performance and achievement of strategic and operational objectives (including causes of deviation).
- Measure and report the Marketing and Communications function’s performance against the SP, AOP, and APP according to the agreed timelines and templates.
- Develop standardized strategy presentations
- Represent the company on relevant committees and forums to ensure all communication strategy and initiative are aligned to sector and national priorities.

**Stakeholder Engagement Strategy**:

- Co-create Stakeholder Engagement Strategy with relevant internal stakeholders, based on a medium-term view of requirements and strategic intent, for Corporate Services Executive and Chief Executive Officer approval.
- Consult and network with the various departments on communication requirements and determine appropriate action.
- Compile and implement the annual strategic communications plan
- Develop guidelines and protocols for stakeholder relationship management and engagement with strategic partners.
- Compile monthly progress reports on the status of implementation of the stakeholder engagement strategy, strategic communications plan and other plans as required.
- Formulate and maintain the crisis communication strategy and procedure.
- Implement and coordinate the cross-functional delivery of an integrated communication and marketing strategy and related programmes
- Assist and provide support to the management team regarding preparation and dissemination of key announcements and matters related to operations to ensure consistent messaging and timing across internal and external interest groups and stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- B Degree or equivalent (NQF level 7) in relevant field, e.g., Marketing/Communications/Public relations/Media Relations or related
- Post-Graduate Degree or equivalent (NQF level 8) in relevant field will be advantageous
- 5-7 years of experience in relevant function of which 3 years in a management/ supervisory capacity
- 7 to 8 years’ experience in relevant function environment of which at least 4 years should be in a management/supervisory capacity would be advantageous

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R70 000,00 - R90 000,00 per month
