**Senior Marketing Activation Manager**:

- Essity is a leading global hygiene and health company which develops, produces and sells Health & Medical, Consumer Tissue and Professional Hygiene products and solutions and has a strong global presence. _

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Activation Manager, based in Johannesburg or Pinetown, South Africa. We are looking for someone who will collaborate in marketing strategy development and secure strategy implementation to achieve business objectives.

**About the Role**:
The Senior Marketing Activation Manager will be responsible for implementing marketing strategies and work closely with the cluster Brand Managers and Commercial stakeholders across brands and channels to achieve maximum efficiency & effectiveness.

The scope will cover South Africa & Anglophone Africa, with the opportunity to expand to MEA region. This role reports directly to the Regional Marketing Director, based in Melbourne, Australia.

**What You Will Do**:

- Lead a team, drive efficiency and support personal development;
- Collaborate and execute marketing plans in line with cluster Brand Managers (BM) across brands (wound care, compression, ortho & INCO) and Channels (Hospital, Pharmacy/Retail);
- Manage A&P, media plan creation, and project execution with the respective team members;
- Supports sufficiency and accuracy of A&P allocation and dialogue with BM’s to ensure Fewer, Bigger, Better approach;
- BTB, BTC and BTBTC marketing and media expert across health and medical channels;
- Provides channels and customers insights to BMs and commercial business;
- Partner with sales for synchronization of sales & marketing activities and execution at customers POS;
- Together with the sales team leaders, improve sales & marketing productivity fully leveraging Digital platforms and CRM for scalable activities;
- Drives customer education in line with global guidance and leveraging globally produced material;
- Drives marketing operation and sales support (where applicable e.g. sampling, POS production, website translation).

**Who You Are**:

- Must have an University degree preferably in Marketing;
- 6+ years' related experience in leading teams with marketing strategy execution in Med Tech/Pharmaceutical industry;
- Must have experience in project management and the ability to translate brand vision into effective, financially viable marketing strategy implementation;
- Advanced Microsoft experience, especially Excel and analytical presentations skills;
- Well versed in working with data sets, i.e. SSD, Nielsen or IQVIA;
- Excellent communicator (read, write, speak and listen) fluent in English;
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to drive performance and processes forward;
- Must be innovative, analytical, influential, insightful, courageous and decisive;
- Must be a self-leader, organized and collaborative;
- Must be available for local travel and possible international travel.
