Middle East & Africa Marketing team is looking to recruit a Marketing Director to plan and implement marketing and demand generation activities to grow our pipeline and revenue in Priority High Value Services (PHVS) and technology sales across Southern Africa.

This person should be highly collaborative and be able to work effectively with cross-functional internal stakeholders.


The role will require extensive engagement with the local business leadership and sales to deliver programmes that drive business outcomes.

Key role and responsibilities:

  • Planning, implementing and reporting marketing demand generation campaigns to grow our pipeline and revenue in Priority High Value Services and technology in our client base in Southern Africa. This will include managing the blending of campaign materials from the global Demand Generation team and global priorities, along with those of the Divisions and the countries.
  • Leveraging our client segmentation strategy, gaining alignment on the persona audiences and accounts to target, particularly in 1:Many campaign delivery, but also supporting our 1:Few activity.
  • Leading our engagement with the global Demand Generation COE to identify appropriate global campaigns and driving their adoption in Southern Africa, where appropriate.
  • Working with the Sales Enablement team to help Sales understand the value propositions and campaign plans to ensure successful followup.
  • Reviewing and reporting on the pipeline generation and velocity through the lead funnel and ultimately the revenue generated in PHVS in Southern Africa.
  • Integrating the PHVS campaigns with appropriate technology campaigns within the MEA campaign calendar. Providing visibility of all campaigns running in the region.
  • Regularly communicating with the country Product Marketing Managers to assist in the identification of demand generation activity gaps and to rollout of campaigns in country.
  • Reviewing plans with Vendor Partners to uncover opportunities for marketing funds to support existing activity or in select cases to implement partner marketing campaigns.
  • Success will be measured by the PHVS pipeline, closed revenue and velocity through the demand generation funnel across the region

Knowledge, skills and attributes

  • Ability to manage multiple projects running concurrently with multiple key stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage partner and stakeholder expectations through strong and consistent communication. Role will require frequent communication with MEA and global Marketing teams as well as MEA Services Division teams.
  • Strong collaboration skills. This role will not be successful on its own and will require the input and support of other members of the MEA and global Marketing teams.
  • Ability to build a cohesive team and to manage people effectively
  • Ability to coach and develop the team

Academic qualifications and certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing Management
