Our Client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal administrator to join their team at a leading fiduciary firm. The Legal Administrator will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to the legal and compliance team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of legal processes and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Legal Documentation**:

- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of legal documents.
- **Compliance Support**:

- Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor and update compliance calendars and deadlines.
- **Corporate Governance**:

- Support the preparation of materials for board meetings and other corporate governance matters.
- Maintain corporate records and ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements.
- **Communication and Coordination**:

- Act as a liaison between the legal team and other departments within the company.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and conference calls.
- **Legal Research**:

- Conduct legal research and provide summaries of relevant findings.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the fiduciary industry.
- **File Management**:

- Organise and maintain legal files and databases.
- Implement and manage an efficient document retrieval system.
- **Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities as necessary.
- Assist in the preparation of responses to legal inquiries.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven 3 years' experience as a Legal Administrator or in a similar role (within the fiduciary or financial services industry would be an added bonus)
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and principles.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel) and legal software.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
