Connection Mental Healthcare Pty Ltd is an addiction clinic situated close to the beach front on Rodwell Road, St James, Cape Town. Connection Mental Health Care partners with Connection SGGZ, with headquarters and multiple treatment facilities in the Netherlands.

Our main focus is on addiction and dependency related issues as well as comorbid mental health problems, for instance, anxiety, depression, personality disorders. The treatment we provide is individualized and patient-centered. Our facility can provide inpatient care to 24 patients.

We are now in the process of recruiting a second office administrator.

**Place in the organisation**

The office administrator forms part of the admin department and he or she reports directly to the clinic director.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**

The office administrator makes sure that administrative processes are streamlined.
- Checking clinical documentation and registration in the electronic patient file for accuracy, correctness and completion on a daily basis.
- Assists with HR related admin (annual and sick leave, attendance registers, etc.)
- Finances: Basic bookkeeping administration of invoices, petty cash (Xero)
- Quality improvement monthly audits
- Answers external and internal calls

**Job requirements**
- Proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook
- Accounting or equivalent qualification will be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and in writing)
- Police Clearance Certificate may be required
