**Finance Admin - Pretoria - Salary Market Related - 4 Month Fixed term contract**
**KEY WORK OUTPUT AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Verify, allocate and post financial transactions into the correct journal accounts.
- Prepare and post entries into the general ledger and accounts within the stipulated time frame.
- Receive and verify service provider invoices before submitting for approval.
- Perform suppliers and payments reconciliations.
- Ensuring all payments batches have necessary signatures and payments are made within the required timeframe.
- Respond to finance enquiries by gathering, analysing, summarising, and interpreting data.
- Prepare payment requisitions and perform creditors reconciliation.
- Capture monthly Discretionary and Mandatory journals and prepare monthly reconciliation.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare monthly revenue reconciliation
- Prepare monthly revenue journals
- preparation of Commitment register
- Maintain the monthly expenditure listings
- Upload levies data from DHET into skills portal
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Degree in Finance/Accounting/management account
- At least 18 months Experience in Finance.
- Experience with ERP systems; preferable Sage evolution.
