**Job Duties/Responsibilities will include**:
Providing day to day human resources administrative support

Contributing to the long term development of the human resources function

Providing human resource administration and clerical support to the business as part of a back office function, including all recruitment administration support for A and B Band appointments

Ensuring reference and criminal record checks are carried out fully and in a timely manner

Announcing new appointments

Managing the new joiner process from offer letter through to joining instructions and induction

Providing human resources support and advice to employees and line managers, explaining policies and procedures in a timely and effective manner

Handling maternity, paternity, adoption and parental leave processes and queries

Handling health, safety and IOD processes and queries

Administering the performance management system

Entering data into the HR system so that accurate records are maintained

Providing data for and preparing management information reports

Liaising with payroll and distributing payslips

Processing medical aid / fund entries and withdrawals

Processing death and disability claim documents

Capturing disciplinary records into SAP

Administering the recording of absence and vacation leave

Administering the probationary review periods

Maintaining the personnel filing system and safeguarding the files and documentation

Managing the leave administration process

Providing support in investigations for disciplinary and grievance procedures

Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management

At least 2 years experience in a similar environment

Valid Code EB driver's license

Knowledge of HR principles and practices, employment and labour legislation, health and safety policies and procedures, etc.
