Matric preferably with mathematics, Tertiary Qualification in Sales, Marketing, or IT (advantage). Deep understanding of IT and communication products and industry trends. Extensive ICT sales experience, with leadership and management roles. Track record of maintaining key customer relationships.

Type: Onsite in Cape Town

**Salary**: R45k - R55k pm ctc

**Responsibilities**:

- **Sales Strategy Development**: Create and execute sales strategies to meet company sales targets.
- **Market Analysis**: Analyze market trends and competitor activities in the IT and communication products distribution sector.
- **Team Management**: Recruit, train, and manage a sales team. Set sales targets, coach, monitor performance, and motivate team members.
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Build strong relationships with key customers, including resellers and retailers.
- **Product Knowledge**: Stay updated on IT and communication products, providing training to the team.
- **Sales Forecasting**: Develop sales forecasts, assess progress, and report results.
- **Sales Planning**: Create and execute sales plans, including pricing and promotions.
- **Market Expansion**: Identify new markets and partnerships for distribution.
- **Performance Metrics**: Develop and track key performance indicators for the sales team.
- **Sales Presentations**: Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential customers and partners.
- **Budget Management**: Efficiently manage the sales department budget.
- **Customer Support**: Address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.
- **Compliance**: Ensure team adherence to company policies and regulations.
- **Reporting**: Generate sales reports and presentations for senior management.
- **Risk Management**: Identify and mitigate potential risks.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other departments for coordinated goal achievement.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Seek ways to enhance sales processes, customer service, and distribution efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- **Matric**: Preferably with mathematics.
- **Tertiary Qualification**: In Sales, Marketing, or IT (advantage).
- **IT Industry Knowledge**: Deep understanding of IT and communication products and industry trends.
- **Sales Experience**: Extensive sales experience, with leadership and management roles.
- **Distribution Experience**: Experience in supply chain management or distribution (advantage).
- **Team Management**: Proven ability to lead and manage sales teams.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Track record of maintaining key customer relationships.
- **Sales Strategy**: Experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
- **Budget Management**: Proficiency in budget management.
- **Analytical Skills**: Data analysis for informed decision-making.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong written and verbal communication.
- **Problem-Solving**: Identifying and addressing challenges.
- **Adaptability**: Ability to adapt to industry and company changes.
- **Customer Focus**: Strong customer satisfaction orientation.
