Purpose of the Role:
Key Performance Indicators for this role (but not limited to):
- Building and maintaining successful commercial business relationships with customers, to ensure sustained growth and profitability.
- Manage Customers, so that there is alignment between the Business Objectives and Customer strategy.
- Sourcing of new customers to add to exciting customer base.
Job Summary (but not limited to):
- Building and maintaining successful commercial business relationships with customers.
- Formulating customer strategy and delivering commercial plans.
- Negotiating pricing, ranging and new product listings.
- Annually develop comprehensive channel and account plans to deliver on set account & channel KPI’s.
- Analyze, compile and review performance of channel and account plans incorporating competitor dynamics in order to deliver maximum sales and profit.
- Drive New Product Development sessions with customers.
- Implement the agreed pricing policies.
- Develop the appropriate cross functional contact strategy (includes identifying key contacts & establishing frequency of contact) with assigned customers.
Role Capabilities:
- A deep understanding of the Food Services landscape in South Africa
- Understanding of production processes in food processing facilities
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and facilitation skills with the ability to work with others to achieve objectives
- Excellent numerical, commercial and analytical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills as well as interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and report writing skills.
