The Export Sales Manager for Sub-Saharan East and West Africa is responsible for driving sales growth and managing the export operations within the region. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, building and maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. The manager will work closely with the marketing, logistics, and finance teams to achieve company sales targets and expand market presence in Sub-Saharan East and West Africa.

Duties include but not limited to:
**Sales Strategy Development**:

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales goals in the Sub-Saharan East and West African market.
- Identify new market opportunities and potential customers within the region.
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making.

**Customer Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring favourable terms for the company.

**Sales Operations**:

- Monitor and manage the entire sales process from lead generation to order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.

**Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade regulations and export requirements.
- Manage the preparation and submission of all necessary export documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in trade policies and tariffs that may impact sales operations.

**Market Analysis and Strategy**:

- Conduct market research to identify new export opportunities.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote products in international markets.

**Minimum Education, Certification and Training**:
5+ years of solutions and/or consultative commercial sales experience in Paint Retail and Industrial sectors

Manufacturing/Paint industry in Sub-Sahara Africa (must have traveled internationally)

Familiarity with export documentation, cross-border duties, and regulations
