Business Development Specialist

Resolve and Change Systems (RACS) is a premier dispute resolution and change management specialist practice based in Cape Town. We are currently looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist, who is well equipped to facilitate impactful and strategy aligned expansion of our business.
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for growing the RACS footprint with the intent to increase the market share of the business, whilst delivering on the RACS Business Development strategy.
**Key outcomes**
The following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the Business Development Manager:
**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE**:
**BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT**:
- To secure and finalise new business and increase retention of existing business.
- Identifying prospective clients and lead generation by using online/offline business directories, networking and research.
- Creating and following leads from existing clients.
- Attending and presenting at relevant events and conferences.
- Contacting new, prospective and existing clients to discuss their needs and explain how specific products and solutions could meet their needs.
- Reporting on business development opportunities including detail on existing client success and impact.
- Have the ability to quantify, collate and demonstrate the impact of RACS interventions and specialisation on existing clients/projects, and in turn, package this impact and value to potential clients.
- Remain in frequent daily/weekly communication with the CEO and Senior Management for guidance/demos/product training/technical support.
- Prospecting and presentations to potential customers.
- Developing a client journey map and Managing the client journey.
- Sales & campaign planning.
- To ensure that profitable annual sales volumes and monthly targets are met by actively growing and managing the support base.
- External Meetings and Networking
**CLIENT SERVICE** **/GROWING THE BUSINESS and PROJECT MANAGEMENT**
- Facilitate relationships with your client base through pro-active communication of deliverables and service
- To develop and implement a business development plan for RACS (sales volumes, education and training, marketing and client services - administration)
- Your high level of attention to detail means you will deliver key metrics. You will manage your pipeline and database of clients daily, monthly and weekly.
- To support projects and campaigns (marketing support)
- To assist with successful implementation of RACS & industry focused marketing events
**KEY REQUIREMENTS**:
- A tertiary education within the field of Business Administration /Marketing/Consumer Psychology is preferable
- Proven track record of successful sales and business development in a service and consultant based industry.
- Target driven and ability to work to established KPI's and commission.
- Excellent telephone communication, presentation and networking skills, project management and time management skills.
- Ability to foster long-term client relationships across a wide variety of industries.
- Driver’s license and own transport essential.
