Brand Manager: Acquisition: Renowned Isp

We have a great opportunity for a mid-weight, high achieving Brand Manager: Acquisition to join the Marketing team at a leading Internet Service Provider/Tech company in Cape Town. As Acquisition Brand Manager you will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition. You will own the Go To Market calendar and campaign creation to reach and convert new acquisition customer audiences, through Deal and Lead Generation campaigns across communication channels.
This role has a strong focus on both Sales and Marketing, building leads for the Sales call centre and managing the Deals and Go To Market calendar with the aim of delivering the best Marketing campaigns to drive the Deals. We’re ideally looking for someone who has FMCG/Trade Marketing Experience who has managed campaigns, Promotional calendars, and Deals. As you’ll be generating leads for the call centre, some Digital experience is required.

**Responsibilities**:
- Deal Campaigns and Go To Market Acquisition
- Plan, implement and measure performance for all Deals campaigns. Mix of supplier led and Brand led
- Manage Deals calendar with Head of Marketing (HOM) and Product Managers (PMs)
- Work with PMs to negotiate supplier Deals and Marketing investment to support campaigns
- Work closely with Head of Product to develop Brand led Deals based on previous campaign learnings
- Working closely with the HOM + Online Brand Manager, create Deal campaigns that support the Deal and provide all collateral to relevant media channels including online, radio and other
- Share Deal type learnings across the business.
- Lead Capture for Sales Calls Centre
- Plan, implement & manage lead capture activity across the following lead gen channels: FNO portal leads, Online paid media campaign leads, WiFi sponsorship activations, Open new channels for leads, Work closely with SCC on conversion performance to deliver best conversion
- Support the Corporate, Reseller and Partner Sales Channel Managers with collateral (across a range of channels) that drives brand consideration and sales conversion
- Plan and implement localised and mass reach communication driving Brand and/or Deal consideration
- Work closely with the FNO Marketing teams to ensure the Brand’s share of voice within FNO Marketing channels.
- Look to build strong relationships and negotiate value for the Brand
- As required, work closely with the Head of Marketing to implement any mass reach brand campaigns across channels such as TV, radio, outdoor or activations.
**Requirements**:
- Relevant Marketing qualification
- 2 - 4 years’ experience within an FMCG or Retail Brand
- Worked in Retail and/or Sales call centre sales channels at a Brand manager or Trade Marketing Manager level
- Experience with Acquisition focused roles. Creating demand and converting this to sales
- Equally excited by Sales and Marketing as this is a Commercial Marketing role that should drive activity to achieve sales
- Managed campaign/promotional calendars
- Some Digital experience
- Worked with design and agency resources to plan and execute stand out campaigns both for deals and SCC lead capture campaigns
- An understanding of the consideration and conversion funnel to ensure right message at right time
- Good negotiation skills to achieve maximum value
- Highly action orientated with a drive to succeed
- Analytical - able to use data to guide actions
- Organised, with strong attention to detail demonstrated in both campaign planning and post campaign reporting with accuracy of information essential
- Multitasker with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns across channels
- Able to work well with other teams, as this role is cross functional and will need to build relationships and negotiate best deals
- Able to take initiative to solve problems
- A self
- starter who can deliver under pressure
- Able to operate in fast paced, pressurised situations
- High levels of tech/ connectivity interest are beneficial.
