What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
You will oversee Regular movement and placement of hardware including PC’s, monitors and printers. You will proactively maintain hardware and software as required, implementing fixes; upgrades and general servicing requirements. You will Update and maintain records on the helpdesk system. You will administrate the “New Users” and “Leavers” processes - to ensure progress from initial notification to completion of work required to set up new users or deactivate leavers. You will process requisitions from Sigma staff on IT products and consumables in line with corporate procedure & policies, in order to ensure that staff get the tools they need whilst the IT infrastructure remains supportable and ensuring all necessary controls are adhered to.
You will contribute to the maintenance of the asset register by carefully recording assets as they arrive and through to their ultimate disposal. You will contribute to the maintenance of mobile phone records and to offer a mobile phone administration service to Sigma. You will contribute to the development of FAQ’s and other training materials with the aim of increasing pro-active support given to the user base.

You will bring a Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar role.1st & 2nd Line experience is suitable. you will have a Computing background with knowledge of operating systems, software.
You will bring your vast experience of customer relations/client orientation/customer orientation. You will bring a good working knowledge of LAN, wireless, VPN knowledge, and other related network technologies. You will be familiar with Mobile and tablet technology, with strong Knowledge and experience of Windows 7-10 and Microsoft office (including 365), you will have experience with solving laptop and hardware issues.
First line support.
You will provide first line support on desktop, mobile devices, printers, and related system issues. You will assist with MS Office queries and user administration tasks. Ticket Operations on FreshDesk support you will efficiently handle incoming support tickets through the FreshService Dashboard. You will prioritize and escalate tickets as needed to ensure timely resolution. You will update and maintain records on the helpdesk system. You will administer the "New Users" and "Leavers" processes to facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding.
Minimum requirements:
- No prior IT experience required.
- Computer literate with at least Windows and Microsoft Office experience.
- Strong interest in IT and technology.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity or willingness to learn ticketing systems, especially FreshService.
- Willingness to undergo training and professional development.
- Signed off probation
- KPI's met for the last 6 months
- Clear IR record
