**What We're Looking For**:
A Senior Paid Search Specialist is a highly experienced PPC expert who specialises in managing, analysing and implementing effective optimisation strategies as well as assisting the lead with various ad hoc tasks to improve overall channel strategy and the teams performance. Their primary function is to deliver against business and marketing goals within the Exec Ed Paid Media team within the search platform.

The role requires more than just a campaign management focus. Seniors are expected to advise on and help to implement strategy, aid with improving the teams performance and help with ad hoc tasks to alleviate pressure off of the Lead. A proven record and excellent understanding of Paid Search, SEO principles & analysis skills are your foundation. At least 3+ years in the Digital Advertising Industry is required.

**Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To**:

- Support the development and execution of the Paid Search strategy in order to generate quality leads. This includes campaign building, optimisation, ad creative refinement and testing, budget management and optimisation, improving the overall search funnel strategy, and reporting.
- Actively identify and recommend ways to improve channel and team effectiveness and efficiency as well as aid the lead to implement any new processes whether they are within the team or interdepartmental. As a senior you are a leader within the team and the team will look to you for guidance.
- Work with other team members to ensure that the cross channel spend mix between Display, Paid Social and Search teams is analysed and defined to achieve maximum ROI across the portfolio's on a regular basis.
- Work with Brand Strategists & Content Team:

- Create and optimise effective ads and landing pages for SEM campaigns.
- Provide regular training and input on media packs for both Content & Brand.
- Create briefs for the Content Team to aid course optimisation for improved ad creative performance.
- Assist your HOD in reviewing junior and mid level team members campaigns and recommend opportunities/optimisations that can be implemented to enhance performance. Guide the team member on how you found these opportunities and how they can be implemented.
- Conduct regular spend, geo and overall campaign performance analysis using tools such as Tableau, AdWords and Excel and report on findings.

**Things That Should Be In Your Background**:

- _3 - 5 years experience in Digital Advertising Industry_
- _Google AdWords Certified_
- _SA 360 / Google Marketing Platform experience is advantageous_
- _Business / Marketing degree preferable_
