**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
The core focus of this role will be to own the paid media search accounts across HyperionDev to a.) create awareness through digital channels and b.) drive cost-effective leads for the business.

HyperionDev is leading the way to close the tech skills gap by offering an accessible alternative to learn key technical skills that can be directly translated into the jobs market. Our alternative is a new way of learning, and a challenger to the traditional tertiary methods of obtaining coding and development skills. We require a sophisticated search specialist that can deploy highly targeted campaigns across search, display and discovery channels, re-engage users with multi-faceted message's and be creative.

There is to be a big focus on building out key audiences we will be required to target.

You will be part of the performance marketing team, reporting into the Head of Performance. You will be responsible for the effectiveness of all search campaigns, cost per lead and cost per acquisition targets.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop, update and maintain the search strategy in collaboration with the head of performance. This includes campaign building, optimisation, training, performance analysis, testing, monitoring, platform selection, remarketing strategies and reporting.
- Seeks new ways to grow and scale search advertising for HyperionDev
- Develop and rapid execute on market test campaigns in selected 'out of Africa' markets
- Research, develop and launch university co-branded bootcamp with HyperionDev both locally and internationally.
- Set up campaign tracking and continuously monitor, test, optimize and innovate campaigns to maximize their performance
- Report back on strategy regarding insights and data
- Establish the optimal balance between Brand Awareness and Cost Per Lead KPIs
- Drive the implementation of our conversion rate optimization, improve landing page messaging and content.
- Create a robust audience strategy utilizing both 1st and 3rd party data

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Minimum
- At least 4 years of experience with running large budget campaigns on Google Ads, SA 360.
- Solid experience in using Google Analytics
- Google Adwords / Doubleclick Certified, Google Analytics Certified.
- Marketing degree/ diploma preferable.
- Experience using Bing, Yahoo platforms
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with an advanced understanding of success metrics
- Thorough understanding of various online and offline sales conversion funnels
- Experience with implementing conversion (pixel) tracking, URL parameters, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to present insights to multiple stakeholders
- A self‐starter who thrives in a fast‐paced environment

**Advantageous**:

- Proficiency with Google DataStudio
- Able to navigate Tag Manager
- Ran campaigns in United Kingdom, US or Europe
- Proven ability in automation to create efficiency
- Experience in scaling paid search within SaaS, Startup or Education businesses
- Able to write basic copy to rapid test ideas and hypotheses
- Agency experience
