**JOB DESCRIPTION**

As a Key Account Consultant in the medical-legal environment, you will be responsible for acquiring, managing, developing, and maintaining relationships with key clients within the legal sector who require medical expertise for litigation purposes.

Your primary objective will be to provide expert guidance, support, and consultation to legal professionals, ensuring that they have access to accurate medical information and expert testimony to support their cases. You will act as a liaison between the administrator, medical experts, and legal teams, facilitating communication and ensuring that all parties are aligned to achieve the best possible outcomes.

This position requires a blend of expertise in client management, medical knowledge, and financial acumen to ensure the seamless delivery of services while optimizing revenue generation through efficient collections practices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the legal sector, understanding their specific needs and requirements.
- Medical Expertise: Provide expert consultation and guidance to legal professionals on medical matters related to litigation cases, including RAF, medical malpractice, personal injury, disability claims, etc.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and requirements, identifying areas where medical expertise is needed and proposing suitable solutions.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate with internal teams or external medical experts to allocate appropriate resources to support client cases effectively.
- Case Support: Assist legal teams in obtaining relevant medical records, coordinating medical examinations, and securing expert witnesses for testimony.
- Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all consultations, recommendations, and case-related activities.
- Training and Education: Collaborate with FundaAcademy to set up forums for legal professionals and experts to enhance their understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and relevant laws.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in medical knowledge relevant to the legal sector.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of services provided and identify areas for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all interactions and activities.
- Monthly Collections Management: Develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly collections targets, aligning efforts with organizational goals and client expectations. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices, utilizing effective communication and negotiation skills to facilitate timely payments.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- A legal background with a Bachelor of Arts in LAW or Communications studies would be advantageous.
- Experience working in a medical or legal environment, preferably in a role involving client consultation or relationship management, will be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and practices, with the ability to translate complex medical information into understandable terms for legal professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and medical experts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing medical and legal practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Salary range: Market-related, based on experience.

**Note**:

- This position requires extensive travelling to meet with clients or attend legal proceedings.
