JOB PURPOSE: Provide contract and supplier management to the company to ensure the business proactively manages contracts and suppliers, ensure that contract function is aligned with Supply Chain Strategy, contracting processes and procedures

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Ensure that the process of contract risk management within SCM is running effectively and efficiently.

2. Ensure that departments in the company comply with policies, regulations and commercial agreements implemented.

3. Ensure that contract management function is aligned to the overall strategy of the company and that all relevant governance is adhered to.

4. Manage and maintain compliance with the terms and conditions of the contract and commercial procedures.

5. Collect, analyses and provide information relevant to any dispute arising from the contract and propose remedies.

6. Overseeing all aspects of contract management including the coordination of signing and loading of changes onto a contract management system.

7. Develop and maintain contracts management register.

8. Negotiate savings with suppliers to add monetary and commercial value to the company.

9. Involved in the strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and stakeholder engagement.

10. Monitor negotiations to ensure that the process is continual and turnaround by all the departments is on time.

11. Assist in developing a contact management policy in line with the National Treasury Contracts Management Framework.

12. Ensure agreements received are fully executed by the relevant business unit and as well as the supplier / external party.

13. Ensure agreements received from Group Legal have no gaps and that all the terms, value and price are dealt with in the contracts.

14. Liaise with the business owning the contracts in order to get an update of the status of the contracts to establish if the Supplier are delivering in terms of the contract entered into or not.

15. File and manage the electronic copies of all the signed contracts to ensure compliance and governance.

16. Update contract database with scanned copies of the original agreements / documents and ensure contract information loaded to the spreadsheet register is accurate.

17. Support and manage queries from the Business Units and other internal stakeholders regarding agreements and contract process.

18. Create a contract compliance register and a report for breach of contract

**Inherent Requirements**

Relevant diploma NQF level 6 in contract management.

Or

Diploma / degree in Logistics in one of the following:LogisticsLegalSupply ChainTransport

At least 5 years Contract Management experience. Aviation experience will be an added advantage

Computer literate (MS Office) - Ability to construct effective presentations /management reports

Valid driver’s license - Code B
