Biomedical Coordinator

**We are seeking a Biomedical Coordinator (ABYM) for a 12 month fixed term contract vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape.**

**Applicants are required to meet the following criteria**:

- **3 year Diploma / Diploma as a Professional Nurse with strong management skills***:

- **SANC registration***:

- **3 years proven working experience in a similar position***:

- **Extensive knowledge of HIV/AIDS/TB and STI’s***:

- **NIMART qualified***:

- **MS Office proficiency***:

- **Valid driver’s license and able to travel extensively***:

- **Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies**
***The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to**:

- **Coordinate AYP (Adolescent Young People) clinical module activities***:

- **Rollout of comprehensive prevention, treatment, care and support services***:

- **Assess training needs and provide ongoing mentoring, coaching and support to team***:

- **Conduct routine program oversight including onsite visits***:

- **Implement clinical services, compliance, evidence of proficiency testing, compliance with training requirements***:

- **Contribute to hub on AYP components***:

- **Attend meetings and programme performance reviews***:

- **Ensure integration of data with sub district level***:

- **Facilitate monthly meetings, programme reviews and quality improvement plans***:

- **Facilitate linkages / relationship management***:

- **Develop comprehensive program reports for Dept of Health**
