**We are seeking a CSS Manager for a 12 month fixed term contract vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape.**

**Applicants are required to meet the following criteria**:

- **B.Degree in Social Sciences, Education or Development Studies***:

- **Training in Project Management***:

- **Post Graduate Degree advantageous***:

- **Specialized knowledge and demonstrated expertise in multisector HIV/AIDS programs***:

- **10+ years’ experience in public health programming***:

- **Experience working with donors and government***:

- **Ability to lead and manage teams***:

- **Experience and/or understanding of SA health systems and in maintaining strong relations with partners / government counterparts / donors***:

- **Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively**
***The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to**:

- **Develop a comprehensive implementation strategy and provide leadership to team to ensure delivery***:

- **Technical assistance in design of training packages and support stakeholders to strengthen systems***:

- **Maintain close collaboration with other in-country technical partners and represent at meetings***:

- **Lead, guide, mentor and manage provincial staff and conduct regular consultation sessions***:

- **Conduct regular consultation sessions with programme and supportive staff, to monitor performance***:

- **Six monthly performance appraisals and staff inductions***:

- **Uphold and implement policies and procedures***:

- **Contribute to newsletter and annual report***:

- **Lead the implementation, monitoring, reporting and budgeting for activities***:

- **Ensure implementation of training and development plans***:

- **Plans and facilitate forums and meetings***:

- **Engagement on program policy development**
