**Position details**:

Reports to: Sales Manager
Job description / core competencies:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in sensor-based sorting technology
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Develop and deliver effective presentations and proposals
- Attend industry events and represent the company at industry associations
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop process flow and implement solutions for customers
- Meet or exceed sales targets in sensor-based sorting technology
- Understanding and meeting customers' needs
- Continuously seeking new and better ways to improve products and services.
- Providing products and solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations
- Continuously seeking to improve customer operations and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Encouraging collaboration and communication among employees to achieve common goals.
- Considering the long-term goals and vision of the company and making decisions that align with them.
- Being able to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
- Ability to develop and implement Sales and Business development plans
- Identifying new business opportunities: This includes researching and identifying potential customers, partners, and new markets.
- Building and maintaining relationships with current and potential customers, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Identifying and implementing strategies to increase sales and revenue.
- Identifying and generating leads for new business opportunities for all products and services - Researching industry trends and competitors to inform business decisions.
- Attend networking events, conferences and trade shows to identify new business opportunities and potential partners.
- Working with other departments such as marketing, product development, customer support and operations to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Track performance and provide regular reports to management on business development activities and results.

**Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
Qualifications:
- Chemical or Process Engineering or Metallurgical qualification will be beneficial, but not a requirement
**Requirements**:
- Experience in sensor-based sorting technology is an advantage.
- More than 5 years of sales and business development experience in the mining industry focusing on mineral separation technologies essential
- Good understanding of business principles
- Excellent presentation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively and represent the company at industry associations
- Plant process flow development experience
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills
- Established sales network and relationships with project houses
