What will you do?
Are you passionate about Agile Portfolio management and Support.? We are seeking an experienced portfolio manager who can add a fresh, unique perspective to our team. In this role, the manager will support the lifecycle of a large portfolio, leading project-level reviews, optimizing standards, identifying areas for improvement, reporting analyses, and training staff members. The portfolio manager should not only be comfortable talking with high-level business leaders about individual portfolios, but also help us define KPIs and create a roadmap for Group initiatives. Portfolio Governance
- Act as a key contributor to portfolio governance activities by assisting in the creation and implementation of governance frameworks, processes, and procedures that align with Agile principles. This includes facilitating portfolio reviews, tracking key performance indicators, and ensuring adherence to Agile portfolio management practices.

Agile Portfolio Planning
- Collaborate with stakeholders, Agile Portfolio Managers, and Agile teams to support the planning and prioritization of portfolio initiatives. This involves assisting in the creation and maintenance of Agile portfolio backlogs, facilitating the refinement and estimation process, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Resource Management
- Assist in resource allocation and capacity planning within the portfolio to ensure optimal utilization of resources across Agile initiatives. This includes monitoring resource availability, facilitating resource allocation discussions, and identifying potential bottlenecks or conflicts.

Agile Portfolio Reporting
- Generate and analyze Agile portfolio performance reports, including metrics, dashboards, and status updates. This involves collecting and consolidating data from Agile teams, tracking progress against goals, and communicating portfolio status to stakeholders in an Agile and transparent manner.

Risk and Issue Management
- Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks and issues within the portfolio. This includes working closely with Agile Portfolio Managers and Agile teams to identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and track the resolution of issues to ensure timely and effective risk management.

Agile Portfolio Communication
- Assist in facilitating effective communication and collaboration among portfolio stakeholders. This includes organizing Agile portfolio meetings, workshops, and forums, as well as promoting knowledge sharing and best practices across Agile initiatives.

Continuous Improvement
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of Agile portfolio operations by identifying areas for enhancement, recommending process improvements, and supporting the implementation of Agile maturity practices. This includes participating in retrospectives, conducting lessons learned sessions, and driving the adoption of Agile frameworks and methodologies. Qualification

Grade 12
IT Qualification or Certifications relevant to the area of expertise (such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMBOK, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFE Agilist

Knowledge and skills
Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
Proven ability to implement high-profile initiatives and to provide thought leadership.
Strong understanding of Six Sigma/Lean methodologies and project management is required.
Capable of building strong relationships while driving delivery.
Expert level knowledge of industry and professional organization (PMI) practices in managing projects.
Excellent coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide teams in adopting Agile practices effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address barriers to Agile adoption.

Experience
Proven experience in managing and leading teams.
Minimum 8 years’ experience within a Project Portfolio Management domain.
Experience in driving Agile adoption within an organization, overcoming resistance to change, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Build a successful career with us
