Strategic Account Manager

Our Client to looking to hire a dynamic Strategic Account Manager with a proven record in providing specialized solutions in the insurance sector to a portfolio of clients.
**Key responsibilities**
- Develop and deliver on the agreed strategic plans in line with our clients strategy.
- Lead, develop and improve the day-to-day client relationship of clients.
- Drive sales through various distribution channels.
- Setup Broker Networks and the recruit Brokers.
- Manage and co-ordinate all activities related to building client profile of risks and needs analysis.
- Lead the tender processes.
- Maintain and improve client satisfaction, retention, revenue and profitability including fee negotiation.
- Analyze and interpret the markets and industries for competitive advantage and emerging opportunities.
- Ensure compliant dealings with clients.
- Maintain and build new business with existing and new clients.
- Identify opportunities for increasing revenue.
- Manage financials.
- Provide technical advice and training.
**Minimum Requirements**
- Have a minimum of 15-year relevant experience within the insurance industry.
- Be in a possession of a Bachelors degree qualification in related field.
- Must be registered as a representative with the FSCA in terms of the FAIS Act**.**:
- Must be registered as an associate with the IISA.
- Proven record of achievement in the provision of insurance solutions across the full spectrum of business enterprises in South Africa.
- Experience in financial planning, forecasting and budgeting.
- Strategic knowledge of industry and business strategies and company goals.
- Knowledge of insurance solutions across the full spectrum of business enterprises in South Africa.
- Good understanding of applicable legislative environment governing the industry.
- Working knowledge of risk analysis methodologies.
- Knowledge of underwriting and claims administration/management, including dealing with complex claims.
