Hollard Health (HH), a division of Hollard International provides African health care solutions to employer groups and brokers.

The Key Account Manager position will be responsible for handling the Hollard Health (HH) Africa book of business with an immediate focus on the larger client accounts but not excluding the smaller ones. The role will require you to build and maintain a strong relationship with the client (broker and/or employer group). You will have the privilege of being the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipate the client's needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and overall to ensure the satisfaction of our client. The key account manager will also identify/bring in new business from existing clients or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential clients in conjunction with the sales team.

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**

Developing a solid and trusting relationship between our clients and HH
Resolving key client issues and complaints
Developing a complete understanding of the key account needs and requirements
Managing communications between key clients and HH back-office teams
Project manage the new business take on process for new clients from start to finish
Travel in country (the rest of Africa) when required to any one of the countries that HH has clients, this could be for an implementation, face to face, troubleshooting etc
Negotiating HH contracts with the client and establishing a TAT
Build strategic partnerships with key broker houses to maintain a transparent and mutually beneficial approach

Collaborating with the sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
Planning and presenting reports on account progress and quarterly reports to share with team members and clients
Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
Expanding relationships and bringing in new clients together with the sales team
Co-ordination of events, training sessions and networking events

**Required Knowledge and Experience**:
5 years’ experience in similar role

Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently

Fluent in English, the ability to converse in French and Portuguese will be an advantage

Ability to facilitate executive level interfaces

**Educational Requirements**:
Matric or equivalent is essential

Business degree or diploma is an advantage
