What the person must be able to do:
This role is in the Solar Product Wholesaler sector. All duties would take place in this context:

- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies, including target setting and account identification, to penetrate the solar market and achieve sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and contractors, ensuring excellent customer service and effectively addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Marketing Campaigns and Product Events: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute marketing campaigns and product events, such as showcases and exhibitions, to promote solar products and generate sales leads.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a sales team, setting performance targets, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Market Analysis and Trends: Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and customer needs through market research and analysis, and leverage insights to inform sales and marketing strategies.

Key Job Deliverables:

- Sales Growth: Achieve and surpass sales targets for solar products through effective sales strategies and marketing initiatives, including product events.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and prompt resolution of inquiries and concerns.
- Successful Product Events: Plan, organize, and execute engaging and successful product events, showcasing solar products and generating interest and sales opportunities.

Qualifications & Background work experience:

- Pref: Technical Qualification in Electrical e.g. National Diploma Electrical Engineering
- Sales expertise in the solar industry with a focus on achieving sales targets through relationship selling. Must understand solar components like batteries, solar panels, inverters and backup power systems or renewables.
- Team Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing a sales team, setting targets, and driving performance to achieve sales goals.
- Market Analysis: Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, translating insights into effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Customer Relationship Management: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and provide excellent customer service.
- Advantageous: Expertise in Marketing
