Top Electrical Distribution firm seeks Regional Sales Manager in Electrical Distribution.

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth in the KwaZulu-Natal region, managing a team of sales professionals, and collaborating with senior leadership to develop and implement effective sales strategies for promoting electrical products to resellers and installers..

What the person must be able to do:
This role is in the Electrical Distribution sector. All duties would take place in this context.
- Lead and manage a sales team of 23 to 25 individuals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve sales goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with resellers and installers in the region to promote electrical products effectively.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop sales strategies, analyse market trends, and identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, make necessary adjustments to strategies, and track progress against targets.
- Prepare sales reports, communicate with internal teams and stakeholders, and ensure coordination of sales activities.

Key Job Deliverables:

- Achieve sales targets and drive sales growth in the KwaZulu-Natal region.
- Ensure the sales team performs effectively, meeting individual and collective goals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic sales plans.

Qualifications & Background work experience:

- Sales or Electrical Qualification
- Successful sales management experience in the electrical or solar industry.
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
- Knowledge of the reseller and installer mindset
- Advantageous: Familiarity with the reseller and installer market in the KwaZulu-Natal region.
