A well established vehicle tracking company is looking for a Regional Sales Manager for the Western Cape region.

**About the job**:
The Western Cape Regional Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and market expansion within the designated region and will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, leading, and motivating a high-performing sales team and cultivating strong relationships with key clients. By analyzing market trends, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional leadership, the Regional Sales Manager will be instrumental in achieving sales targets, enhancing client satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success and profitability of the company. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to shape the trajectory of our regional sales efforts and contribute to the dynamic growth of the company.
- **Responsibilities**_

*Sales Strategy and Execution:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine strategies and ensure a competitive edge.
- Drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.

*Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, assisting them in achieving their individual and collective sales goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and implement training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

*Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services, exceeding client expectations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic insights and building long-lasting partnerships.

*Market Expansion and Business Development:

- Identify new business opportunities and untapped markets within the region, in driving expansion efforts.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute effective sales campaigns and promotional activities.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and potential areas for growth.

*Sales Performance Analysis and Reporting:

- Analyze sales metrics, performance data, and market trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports to senior management, outlining achievements, challenges, and strategies.

**Qualifications**
- Business Management
- Sales Management
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience as a successful sales manager, preferably in a regional or territory-focused role.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and develop New Business, and Account Managing sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective sales strategies.
- Results-oriented and driven by a passion for exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.
- Ability to travel within the designated region as needed.
