**Job Desciption**:
ITB is a flexible plastic packaging manufacturer and part of the Novus Holdings Group. ITB produces an array packaging for the FMCG and food markets. Its products include retail bags, security bags, FFS food packaging, heavy duty sacks and carrier bags which are distributed across South Africa and abroad.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Contact potential customers to identify and quantify their requirements, budgets and sell the advantages of the ITB products.
- Prepare proposals and quotes for potential clients and new business.
- Support the sales director in negotiating contracts.
- Develop ongoing knowledge of the market, demand & opportunities, competition and prices.
- Participate in marketing efforts at trade shows and conferences.
- Motivate, manage and assist the sales teams to meet or exceed the set sales budgets.
- Meet annual sales targets.
- Produce monthly sales reports, including activity, closings, follow-up in line with goals.
- Maintain contact, and develop client relationships, with existing and potential customers to promote sales, and deliver up to date company information such as new technology and product benefits.
- Contribute to the annual business plan in conjunction with Sales Team Leader, which will assist with the goals and focus, to meet or exceed sales budgets.
- Deliver company presentations at customer sites, conferences and or exhibitions.
- Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from larger competitors.
- Represent the organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.

**Educational Requirements**:

- Diploma/ Degree in Sales and Marketing.

**Experience Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a National Sales Manager.
- Experience within the FMCG environment.
- Experience managing a high-performance sales team.
- Experience in the flexible packaging industry will be an added advantage.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Experience within the FMCG environment.
- Ability to manage a high-performance sales team.
- Knowledge of CRM software (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- An ability to understand and analyse sales performance metrics.
- Strong customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Financial skills and availability to travel as needed.
