**To be based in KZN or Johannesburg.**
Established, dynamic company within the FMCG sector seeks National Key Account Manager with solid relevant experience to drive sales and market share with existing customers, as well as identify new customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Regular interactions with existing customers at all levels to identify and address their specific needs (will include Buyers, Head Office contacts, Regional Managers, Operations Managers, and Deli Contractors / Specialists, among others)
- Analytical interpretation of category and regional sales data and identification of appropriate action plans to ensure the growth of all product categories and regions
- Identifying opportunities by maintaining a current knowledge of market trends and conditions, and competitor product offerings and pricing
- Conducting business reviews and developing, together with the customer, related promotional and growth plans
- NPD project management, including liaison between stakeholders (internal teams, suppliers, customers, distributors), product cook-ups and presentations, product listings and the drafting of product specifications
- Demand forecasting for production planning and depot replenishment purposes
- Product costings
- Ensuring pricing alignment between the Company and its customers (retailers) and distributors
- Acting as the first point of contact for customer queries
- Escalating and overseeing customer complaints between customer and factory, ensuring timeous closeout that is satisfactory
