**SALES ONBOARDING SPECIALIST - JOB DESCRIPTION**

**REPORTS TO**: Managing Director

**SUMMARY OF POSITION**:
The Sales Onboarding Specialist is responsible for overseeing the customer onboarding process, ensuring that customers are set up for success with our product. They track market developments, create strategies, set up sales plans, and maintain customer relations. They are also responsible for developing and researching marketing opportunities and sales strategies.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Sales Coordination**:

- Sell our services to customers, and represent the brand. This can include asking questions to pinpoint the best offerings, giving demos or presentations
- Submit and process orders to ensure customers receive the products or services they request on time.
- Participate in company meetings and provide a recap of recent results and accomplishments.
- Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

**Sales Onboarding**:

- Providing detailed direction on how to get started with product implementation
- Consulting with customers to resolve product issues during the introductory phase
- Facilitating a smooth transition from onboarding to customer success management
- Cultivate relationships with customers (and help keep them happy)
- Bridge the gap between customers and your support team
- Communicate common customer behaviours to management.
- Advise customers on future buying decisions with your company
- Conduct planning calls with new customers to gather key business information and guide them through the onboarding process.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services to help tailor solutions that make sense for the customer
- Ensure customers have a positive experience during the onboarding process and are fully equipped to use the company's products and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process for customers, including liaising with our staffing team to make sure that accounts get staffed on time to ensure that all accounts gets properly onboarded
- Follow up with customers who have not booked planning calls to provide guidance and support and ensure they are aware of the onboarding process.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and progress through the onboarding process.
- Identify opportunities to expand revenue during the onboarding process
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest changes to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain customer health and satisfaction by addressing early customer issues, escalations, and cancellation requests
- Save customers who are looking to cancel during the onboarding process

**Marketing Coordination**:

- Markets products by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns.
- Tracks sales data, maintains promotional materials inventory, plans meetings and trade shows, maintains databases, and prepares reports.
- Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists.

**Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Responsibilities**:

- Adhere to the Company's Health and Safety policy and procedure
- Look after your own safety and that of other employees
- Manage and perform all internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the Organization's products.
- Work with Customers, Colleagues and Contractors towards continual improvement of the Management system and report the need for improvement to Management.
- Keep up standards and regulations with respect to Products and Services Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities in line with your capabilities and at the request of your Superior.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, Sales Onboarding, and/or marketing in the finance industry.
- Proven working experience in sales and digital marketing, particularly within the industry
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
- Willing to travel.
