**Job Description**:
Job Summary

The role is responsible for accurate and efficient administration of employee remuneration and benefits.

**Key Accountabilities**

The role reports to the Remuneration and Benefits Officer.

The role has no direct reports.

Internal clients: employees; line managers; Human Resources team members

**Key Responsibilities**
- Administration of the Temporary Payroll
- Capture staff engagements and maintain employee data on HR Information system
- Control of documentation processes and record keeping
- Audit databases
- Reporting
- Employee letters
- Assist with benefits orientation for new employees
- Assist with coordination of Retirement Fund and Medical Aid Scheme
- Live the PPECB values
- PPECB Brand Ambassador

**Travel Requirements**
- Ad hoc travel to regional offices may be required from time to time

Job Requirements

**Qualification Required**

Minimum Grade 12 with Tertiary qualification: B Com Degree or B Tech in HR

Minimum of 3 SARA modules will be advantageous

**Experience Required**

Minimum 3-year remuneration
- and benefits
- administration experience

**Skills Required**:

- Above average Numeracy
- Computer literacy with above average proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Remuneration systems administration
- Highly Confidential and professional orientation
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strongly developed attention to detail, accuracy and coordination skills
- Ability to deliver effectively under tight deadlines
- Organizational skills - advanced
- High-level of personal responsibility
- Highly-developed customer-service orientation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines

**Knowledge Required**
- Financial acumen-basic
- HR and Payroll Information systems
- Knowledge and experience in employment and compensation law and employees tax knowledge.
- Understand of various package structures and approaches
- Knowledge of employee benefits and benefit administration (retirement, risk and medical aid).
- Practical experience in the field of compensations and benefits advantageous
- Good analytical skills and, at best, experience with quantitative data collection
- Familiarity with current employment rules and regulations
