Finance Administration Clerk

We are currently looking for a Finance Administration Clerk to join our team at Kuba. The Finance Administration Clerk will report to the Finance Manager and will primarily be responsible for providing administrative support to the finance department. This is a full-time position based at our office in Johannesburg.
**Responsibilities**:
- Process and record financial transactions into Sage accounting system
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Manage and reconcile petty cash transactions
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of financial documents
- Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests
- Track orders to ensure timely deliveries
- Prepare shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders and bills of lading)
- Generate quotations, delivery notes and invoices and sending out statements
- Capturing the cashbook accurately
- Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers
- Assist with stores as needed
- Provide information to customers about the status of their orders
- Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions
- Debtor collection follow ups and reports
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required
**Requirements**:
- Prior experience in a similar finance administration role
- Proficiency in using accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- High level of confidentiality and integrity
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
