**Within the Fuel Services Environment**: Accountable for the daily activities relating to inbound, storage and outbound stock / assets movement within the Distribution Centre. To be responsible for the physical receipt of goods inwards and the issue of stock against appropriate requisitions as well as stocks and stores items in good order, records stock movements and keeps the warehouse clean and tidy.
Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
Ensure both inbound and outboun d stock movement is executed in a timely, effective and efficient manner and executed in line in line with governing policy standards, controls and technology and in doing so, is positioned to return maximum value to overall stock management
Accurate and timely processing of Inbound stock movement, both inventory and assets
Hands all supplier and other received documentation to the administrator to process receipt of stock
On confirmation from the administrator, bin and pack stock appropriately as per protocol
Ensures that all stock is labelled and sealed with necessary packaging, description, access number and quality assurance labels to ensure easy retrieval
Makes certain that groups of products or materials are packed together on shelves
Accurate and timely processing of outbound stock movement, both inventory and assets, across any of the following areas/locations
Distribution centre
Regional distribution centres replenishments and / or requests
Project office replenishments and / or requests
Supplier dispatch
Regularly checks the In-Tray for new orders and invoices that need to be processed
Ensure inventory and stock is effectively stored and secured according to the Stock Management Policy and protocols, and is managed and controlled to ensure inventory levels are maintained in line with acceptable standards
Actively participates in all Cycle Count and scheduled Stock Takes.
Promptly informs manager of stock discrepancies and stock levels
Ensure full comprehension of the BCX Health, Safety and Security procedures and that these always implemented
Ensure adherence to Legislative Health, Security and Safety protocols
Always restricts access to the stores of unauthorised personnel
Continuously ensures that stock is kept safe and in working/useable order
Follow policy, process and technology training, guidance and support from team leaders
Immediately informs manager of any hazardous or potentially hazardous situations
Ensures that warehouse is always clean and tidy
Escalate unresolved / outstanding areas of concern to management Core Functional Skills & Knowledge

At Least 2 years stock control and administrative experience
Financial background an advantage Certifications Applicable industry certification is required ITIL Foundation Professional Memberships in Relevant Industry Level of Engagement & Span of Control
