- The successful candidate must be a strong team player with the ability to build and foster relationships.
- Must be fast paced, results and sales driven with a strong sales force.
- Must have a good business acumen with good analytical and synthesis skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills is essential.
- Must be computer literate with intermediate Excel skills.
- Managing a portfolio of existing key accounts as well as developing new business within the food manufacturing industry.
- Developing a transverse relationship with the various key customers and ensuring strategic alignment.
- Identifying customer needs and driving opportunities in agreement with the commercial business strategy, the market, category and portfolio.
- Driving inventory planning through coordinating raw materials forecasts and defining relevant stock levels by working closely with suppliers and supply chain staff.
- Calling on selected and prospective customers in line with the KPIs to obtain orders and market information as well as developing business and ensuring the required service levels are maintained.
- Managing sales forecasts and ensuring customer receive their products timeously.
