Front Office Receptionist - Observatory (1 year fixed term contract)

Salary - R 7 000 per month

Leading Biomedical Service Provider is offering this exciting career opportunity within their innovative and dynamic environment.

The individual will be expected to work in a highly self-sufficient manner, interacting with staff members, clients and suppliers. The main goal will be to ensure a welcoming presence and professional front office and administrative support function.

Key responsibilities:
Welcoming guests and visitors, greeting them in a friendly professional manner
Answering calls, referring inquiries, and taking messages
Directing visitors and suppliers
Offering and making beverages for visitors
Maintaining employee and department information records
Safeguarding company security by adhering to procedures, including for health & safety
Controlling access register
Maintaining a safe and clean reception area
Assisting with ad-hoc data capturing, as requested and required
Managing parking bay system and arranging parking bays for guests
Maintaining office key records
Sorting and distributing post and deliveries
Ensuring printer cartridges are always in stock
Ad-hoc filing, for the Finance team
General office admin requirements
Booking meeting rooms
Compiling grocery lists, weekly / monthly
Ordering water and coffee
Liaising with courier companies, and keeping a record of couriers
Directing suppliers if and when necessary
Keeping staff birthday lists and sending out birthday notifications

Minimum requirements:
Matric / Grade 12
Minimum - 3 years administration experience
Self-motivated and proactive
Strong organizational and time management skills
Presentable and professional appearance
Excellent writing and communication skills
Microsoft Office Skills
