Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Procurement and Inbound Duties

  • Supplier pricing updates in Acumatica.
  • Local and International Purchase order processing with correct incoterms and named places
  • Submit Proforma invoices/order confirmation to Accounts for Cash in Advance Suppliers.
  • ETA updates in Acumatica for shipments in transit
  • Notify forwarder/s of shipments for bookings to be made.
  • Complete clearing instructions for Customs clearing and check clearing documents for correctness.
  • Obtain estimates for freight from forwarders.
  • Track and trace international parcels.
  • Arrange collection of local supplier orders placed if not delivered by them.

General

  • Build Multiple contact relationships with suppliers.
  • Complete all processes for duties assigned in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Maintain workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend changes in work methods to increase productivity in department or inter departmental.
  • Ensure excellent supplier and customer service.
  • Maintain archiving of documents per year

Education and Qualifications Required:

  • Grade 1
  • Qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain an advantage
  • Qualification in Procurement an advantage

Experience Required:

  • At least 35 year experience in Procurement and Logistics
  • Customer Services/ Supplier relationships experience
  • Computer literate: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Acumatica
  • Incoterms for international trade
