Our Cape Town office is looking for a Human Capital (HC) Intern to join our Human Capital Team.
The HC Intern provides quality HC compliance and administrative support to the HC Team and the staff (customer).

Duties include but not limited to:
Induction

Preparing Notebook, pens, lanyards, access tags, and any other relevant documentation for new joiners before the commencement date
Payroll
Create new joiner files and submit to HC officer for checking
Keep up to date with all filing each month
Issue certificates of service once payroll has been completed each month
Schedule exit interviews with terminations every month
Parking admin
Sending parking activation links to staff who request for parking, making sure it is allocated for deduction on payroll
Deactivate those who had parking, who have left the company
General
Completes additional tasks as required by HC Consultant/HC officer
Assist with compiling relevant information for training, Employment equity, BBBEE.
Assist with HC Audits as and when required

Qualifications:

Relevant HR-related tertiary qualification
In the process of attaining an HR qualification
Knowledge of all relevant Labour Legislation
Skills and attributes/key competencies
Oral and written communication skills (English language)Attention to detail and checking skills (identifying discrepancies in data)
Planning, organising, prioritising and time management skills
Strong Administrative skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Patient, conscientious and detail focussed
Methodical, organised, structured and systematic
Ability to work in a pressured environment
Proactive and efficient
Integrity and maintain high levels of confidentiality
Ability to work independently and in a group
