Role Purpose


To provide strategic direction and oversee the Digital Enablement Strategy and processes that enable business growth and development, broadening our impact through digital delivery.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Post graduate degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advantageous).
  • 7+ years' experience in a similar role designing, building, and managing digital solutions and platforms.
  • Leading successful digital transformation projects.
  • Understand core business processes and associated technical solutions.
  • Understanding the Human Capital value chain.
  • 56 years' experience managing and leading a multidisciplinary technology team.
  • Proven influencing and collaboration skills.
  • Extensive expertise in key digital principles, including customer and employee centric design, prototyping, and agile delivery in a sensitive and complex environment.
  • Awareness of governance frameworks and legislation, understanding how these are relevant to the Business, implementing and monitoring processes and controls to ensure compliance.
  • Extensive Experience in Cloud Computing, overseeing the design, build, migration, and management of complex enterprise technology solutions.
  • Direct the strategic integration of ERP, Financial Management, and other Enterprise Management systems to maximise the value delivery of Human Capital into the organisation.
  • Extensive experience in architecting, building, implementing, and integrating complex internal and external enterprise platforms.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the data analytics landscape, contributing to informed, strategic decisionmaking processes within the realm of Human Capital technology.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the external and internal environment global marketplace experience, developments and trends that could have an impact on the IT function.
  • Financial services industry experience (essential).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive the digital strategy of the business, delivering fitforpurpose and futurefit solutions.
  • Drive digital innovation and leverage relationships to align stakeholders and influence the readiness for new initiatives.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams to map and transition traditional processes to digital processes.
  • Ensure collaboration, knowledge sharing, and digital best practices between key stakeholders to help embed a robust digital ecosystem.
  • Measure ROI on digital projects, finetuning approaches as needed to ensure we are investing in the right tools and resources.
  • Ensure that all relevant digital initiatives are fully integrated into the strategicplanning process for leadership commitment, resource allocation and execution.
  • Build, manage and continue to grow a digital innovation ecosystem that enhances the employee experience.
  • Research solutions and make recommendations for the improvement of systems aligned to People Strategy and desired employee experience.
  • Ensure teams are delivering to a common plan and purpose, and that risks and issues are wellmanaged.
  • Lead endtoend delivery digital projects, including technology delivery, and change management required to improve, implement, and embed digital systems, and processes.
  • Keep abreast of developments influencing the Information Technology and Digital Transformation Landscape.
  • Develop and implement metrics to measure and monitor the effectiveness and impact of the Digital enablement.
  • Lead the change associated with the digital transformation journey in partnership with business owners and Human Capital.
  • Develop and implement digital readiness assessments to inform the digital change journey.
  • Identify and drive way of work efficiencies to enhance productivity and synergy in the business.
  • Enable the People Strategy through fitforpurpose technology, data, and reporting solutions.
  • Oversee the governance of people systems including risk management, cyber security, maintenance, and architecture.
  • Represent the function in various forums and committees ensuring alignment.
