NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT

OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE:

  • Manage both our existing sales pipeline and the development of new business opportunities.
  • Developing newbusiness proposals & presentations that create opportunities and partnerships.
  • Identify trends and customer needs, building a sales pipeline for short/medium/long term in accordance with targets.
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies to achieve strategic goals

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers
  • Generate new leads, identify, and contact decisionmakers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies
  • Establish deal structures, pricing and negotiate prices for productive bids and proposals
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
  • Grow sales to achieve objectives and targets

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Sales and Marketing Tertiary Qualification
  • 35 Years New Business Development experience in the Building & Paint industry
  • Previous experience in "Hard Sell Sales" to prospective Building/Paint Industry clients
  • Successful track record in BusinesstoBusiness and End User Sales Negotiations
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Develop & Maintain relationships with stakeholders at different levels of authority
  • Understanding of the Sales Process & the ability to close sales
  • Proven track record of Sales to Managing Agents, Body Corporates, Estate Agents, Sport facilities, hotels ect.
