SALES MANAGER(AA) - JOHANNESBURG - RNegotiable


Currently recruiting for a SALES MANAGER for a Catering Equipment Supply Company, you will play a pivotal role in driving our client's sales strategy, managing their Johannesburg Sales Team, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.

Your expertise in sales management and your passion for building and motivating a successful team will be essential in maintaining and expanding our client base.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead the Johannesburg Sales Team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to enhance their performance and reach their full potential.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to achieve company sales goals, maximize revenue, and ensure sustainable growth.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Regularly analyze sales data, prepare accurate sales forecasts, and submit detailed reports to the management team, highlighting progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Sales Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge, selling techniques, and overall effectiveness.
  • Budget Management: Responsible for allocating and managing the sales budget effectively to achieve the desired outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar senior sales role within the catering equipment supply industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating successful sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Indepth knowledge of the catering equipment market and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
  • Resultsdriven mindset with a passion for exceeding targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
