The position entails, but is not restricted to:

  • welcoming and assisting customers [in person]
- answering telephone calls and WhatsApp messages and assist customers enthusiastically
- communicating with clients, suppliers and stakeholders
- assisting clients with sales [point of sale system]
- environment management [keeping the office and outdoor area tidy and well organised] which may include some light physical activity
- supporting and assisting the busy team and Director with scheduling, client queries and event administration
- monitoring and managing stock levels
- ensure SOP compliance and adherence
- prepare daily, weekly, and monthly marketing materials and schedules
- maintain databases/attendance registers
- brief and manage/supervise junior team members and temp/casual staff
- assist with adhoc requirements and projects
- provide input to optimise processes

REQUIRED

  • Previous experience in a customerfocused industry preferred
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Basic technical skills and gave examples (mobile and desktop software usage and updates)
  • Experience with (and hopefully love of) web browsing and information gathering
  • Above average level of proficiency with Google Drive, Google Suite products and all Microsoft products
  • Competency with Google Sheets/Excel advanced features such as pivot tables, formulas, exports will be advantageous
  • Competency with Canva will be advantageous

  • Clear criminal record
  • 3 contactable references
  • Own transport

Employment Conditions

  • Report to the Director
  • Annual leave to be taken during offpeak times as arranged with the Director
