Qualifications:

  • Matric
  • National Diploma in Accounting or studying towards a Bcom degree.

Skills:

  • 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Advanced Excel
  • SAP
  • Manufacturing.

Job description:

  • Loading bank statements from different banks into SAP daily
  • Management and recons of the bank and petty cash accounts
  • Accounting for all foreign payment transactions by way of journals on SAP system
  • Clearing GL accounts and vendor accounts
  • Preparing Forex schedule and revaluations
  • Consult with the bank to buy or sell forex.
  • Download payment runs from SAP, and load into various banks to ensure payments are released.
  • Load authorized banking details on the system.
  • Reconcile treasury GL accounts.
  • Allocate incoming payments, such as medical aid payments.
  • Coordinate and prepare monthly cash flow forecasts.
  • Assist with accounts receivable.
