ROLE DESCRIPTION:

  • Monitor day-to-day activities of the Sales Core Desk and Business Development sub teams for the Area.
  • Focus on delivering high-quality service to our small and mid-sized customers (Core Accounts) through digital and voice channels.
  • Drive team performance by exceeding Quality promises and Key Sales Performance Indicators.
  • Lead the team to respond proactively to initiatives such as filling specific orders or upselling products.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coach and guide Sales Core Desk and Business Development teams to meet targets.
  • Take ownership of the team's performance.
  • Establish open communication channels among Department, Area, and Region stakeholders.
  • Adjust team workload to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards and local guidelines.
  • Coordinate functional training for the teams.
  • Prepare, conduct, and follow up on calls for incubation accounts.
  • Analyze customer potential and create sales plans for incubation accounts.
  • Participate in Trade Management discussions when needed.
  • Provide feedback on market conditions and competition activities.
  • Follow up on Sales Leads and Opportunities.
  • Continuously seek to improve Sales Core Desk and Business Development processes.
  • Manage team functions following guidelines from Sales director and Area Management.
  • Develop sales strategies to drive business growth.

ROLE SKILLS:

  • University degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficient in written and spoken local language and English.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools.
  • Team player who can work well with others and adhere to guidelines.
  • Hands-on approach in dealing with existing and prospective customers.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to set boundaries.
  • Open to new ideas and quick to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Result-oriented with a proactive mindset.
