Senior Receptionist

Minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Qualification in Administration, Office Management, Secretarial Administration or any other relevant qualification
- A minimum of 35 years' work experience as Receptionist, Office Administrator or similar position
- Fluent in English
- Computer literate
- Communication skills both verbal and written
- Wellspoken and professional
- Excellent administration skills
- Good organisation and planning skills
- South African citizen
- Valid Driver's License and own transport would be advantageous, but not compulsory
Job specification (not limited to):
- Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
- Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls
- Taking messages when and where necessary
- Order and issuing of stationary periodically when required
- Booking of boardroom, as and when required
- Handle requests and queries appropriately
- Devise and maintain office filing system
- Manage office petty cash effectively
- Coordinate and manage office administration, functions and booking of venues
- Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services
- Attend to employees' queries regarding office management matters (e.g., stationery, travel arrangements)
- Liaise with IT Department on all office equipment including computers, cellphones and associated billing
- Ensure that all items are invoiced and paid for on time
- Arrange, ensure promptness and setting out of catering for meetings
