HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in aligning human resources strategies with the overall business objectives of the company. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers, providing strategic and operational HR guidance to drive organisational effectiveness and employee engagement. This position requires a deep understanding of HR best practices, labour laws, and industry-specific challenges within the mining and industrial manufacturing sector.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with data analytics/reporting is a must
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good communication skills and customer needs orientated.
  • Very good level of English in written and spoken form
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional attitude and work independently with mínimal guidance in a fastpaced and changing environment
  • Exceptionally detailed oriented and organized
  • Good team player in virtual and inperson team settings
  • Selfstarter with ability to finalize initiatives
  • Analytical skills and ability to solve problems

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review issues and perform root cause analysis and develop solutions and workarounds.
  • Optimize solutions for ease of use of the systems for end users and HR community
  • Support key users in case of issues or questions in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa
  • Support nonstandard (adhoc) HR reporting
  • Support modules multiple modules such as Recruiting, Master Data, Performance & Goals, etc.
  • Participate in Global HR projects
  • Leveraging Technology to improve efficiencies within the HR Department, this includes the maintenance of the following: Staff Database and The HR Management Software (Labour Net, Scanco, HR Link)
  • Identify areas where HR systems can be enhanced and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders
  • Take responsibility for rolling out new modules and software
  • Experience with Payroll and Recruiting
  • Support with other adhoc functions in the HR and Compliance team
  • Preparing letters of appointments, job packs, HR memos, notices, and all other related correspondence
  • Participate in projects to roll out Payroll & HR administrative services to customers
  • Responsible for placing of approved advertisements and announcements on the Internal Job and Project market
  • Leveraging Technology to improve efficiencies within the HR Department, this includes maintenance of local and global databases
  • Managing, maintaining and coordinate all training on HR link for SA and Sub-Saharan Regions
  • Take responsibility for rolling out new modules and software
in HR and Payroll

  • To ensure the provision of an excellent level of customer support and maintenance of the clients Payroll and HR Administration services
  • To continuously improve efficiency in the Payroll and HR Administration department and thereby reduce costs for internal stakeholders
  • Provide systems expertise, advice and support to HR staff.
  • Responsible for the Payroll inbox
  • Coordinate and conduct onboarding of all new employees i.e., induction programs
  • Administration of tracking and monitoring of Individual Development Plans arising from the Competence Development Planning
  • Responsible for the rollout of people management processes for the region, including recruiting practices
