Location:

Based in the East Rand (Boksburg) will be required to travel to designated branch at least 2 times per week.


Job Purpose:

  • To provide timely support, advice and direction to staff as well as managers,
  • Responsible for the timely gathering of payroll input data.
  • Responsible for administrative tasks, and to contribute to excellent delivery of HR and IR assistance to ensure the organisation is always in line with statutory legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Daily clocking's and absentee reports to be sent to all managers. Feedback to be recorded on the Uniclox system.
  • Ensure that all sick leave is processed timeously and the SAF claims are up to date.
  • Assist managers with training or assessment bookings where necessary.
  • Ensure that filing is always up to date.
  • Monthly calculation of short time and overtime for payroll purposes.
  • Manage leave, ensure that all leave is captured and accounted for. On ESS and / or VIP premier.
  • Ensure timeous submission of sick leave claims to Mibco (Sick and accident)
  • Onboarding of new employees, as well as exiting employees, which will include all necessary documentation.
  • Assist management with the IR process, issuing of warnings, compiling charge sheets.
  • Coordinate disciplinary hearings.
  • Assist employees with all staff benefit queries.
  • Assist employees with any HR or payroll related queries.
  • Assist the HR manager with ADHOC projects as and when they occur, such as MERSETA, employment equity, health and safety, and any other project that may come up.
  • Ensure that apprentices are registered with merSETA timeously and liaise with merSETA CLOs on a regular basis.
  • Coordinate wellness days, such as eye tests, or discovery wellness days.
  • Coordinate year end medical aid update sessions.
  • Work on any other project or task as reasonably assigned by management, from time to time.
  • Attend meetings and disciplinary hearings where necessary.
  • Coordinate IOD and liaise with RMA and ensure that incidents are reported timeously.
  • Handle payroll queries.
R16,000 per month + travel allowance
