Our client is seeking a National Key Account Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish, build and maintain effective Group Owner / Buyer relationships by conducting regular visits.

  • Resolve issues regarding rebate payments and any Grouping related queries.

  • Communicate cycle deal & promotional opportunities to gain market share.

  • Conduct casings tests (thickness, filling capacity, etc...). Testing on new lines, introduce and monitor performance of casings in conjunction with the relevant Area Sales Manager (ASM).

  • Communicate new product and technical innovations to enhance their business.

  • Travel with ASMs to grouping accounts where possible.

  • Consolidate and maintain notes for each grouping customer.

  • Liaise with ASMs regularly to track current grouping performance and strategy plan implementation.

  • Submit weekly grouping feedback to Line Manager and Managing Director.

  • Grow designated businesses, with regards to adding more lines, replacing current alternate supplier lines to gain market share.

  • Drive and achieve designated sales budgets, in terms of volume and revenue.

Qualifications:

  • Matric is essential and further qualifications.

  • Minimum 5 years' sales experience within the FMCG, Food, Retail, Informal Trade and Wholesale, is essential.
