Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Business Development Manager/Sales Executive to target enterprise clients, selling IT solutions for South Africa’s leading enterprise IT solutions provider.

This is a Cape Town-based role, the basic salary is up to R960K per annum with on-target-earnings taking the successful candidate up to R2.1 total earnings per annum (uncapped commission).

THE ROLE
Your focus will be hunting for new business in South Africa and selling to well-known & established companies. While there will be some account management involved, the nature of your role will be to research, identify, & contact new prospects, prepare proposals and ultimately negotiate & close sales according to realistic targets.

This is a competitive, highly motivated, and well-established sales team looking for someone with strong product & industry knowledge, and the ability to improvise, adapt, and close multi-million-Rand deals with c-suite members & executives.

REQUIRED SKILLS
5+ years’ experience as a Business Development Manager/Sales Executive/Account Manager
Experience selling enterprise IT solutions (infrastructure/datacentres/cybersecurity/ITSM).
Account management experience
Expert-level new business-hunting experience
