About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Sales and Induction Trainer to lead the onboarding, training, and development of our sales teams in the office automation business. The ideal candidate will design and deliver impactful sales training programs, ensuring that new hires and existing staff are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in a competitive market. This role is critical to fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Training Program Design and Delivery:

    • Develop comprehensive induction programs for new sales hires, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company processes.
    • Conduct ongoing sales training sessions to upskill and motivate existing team members.
    • Design customized training materials, presentations, and activities tailored to the office automation market.
  • Sales Performance Enablement:

    • Equip sales teams with strategies to effectively meet and exceed targets.
    • Collaborate with sales managers to identify skill gaps and address training needs.
    • Introduce innovative approaches to enhance the sales process, including role-playing, simulations, and workshops.
  • Onboarding and Induction:

    • Oversee the entire onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they transition seamlessly into the organization.
    • Provide one-on-one coaching during the initial weeks of employment to reinforce learning and build confidence.
    • Monitor new hires' progress and provide constructive feedback to accelerate their readiness for the field.
  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with sales leadership, marketing, and product teams to align training content with business objectives and market trends.
    • Serve as a bridge between teams to ensure consistency in messaging, product knowledge, and sales approach.
  • Evaluation and Reporting:

    • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through performance metrics, feedback, and surveys.
    • Provide regular reports to senior management on training outcomes and recommendations for improvement.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to refine training strategies.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5-8 years in sales training, with at least 3 years in a senior role within the office automation industry or a related sector.
    • Strong background in sales, with a proven track record of success in achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Skills and Competencies:

    • Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
    • In-depth understanding of sales methodologies and the office automation industry.
    • Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
    • Proficiency in designing training materials using digital tools and platforms.
