Technical Support Manager

At Capital, we're seeking a Technical Support Manager to direct our operations in the Technical Support team. Your primary focus will be on fostering exceptional relationships and ensuring the highest standard of service delivery to our esteemed clients in South Africa and the Isle of Man.

What you’ll do:

The GreyListingofSouth Africa,has resultedinit becoming ahigh-risk jurisdiction; provision of these services will require a strong and detailed knowledge of AML CFT regulation to international standards.

Youwillberequired tosupport the Senior Client Manager SA,to ensurethe team are supported on a personal level with workload management, training and quality assurance oversight.

Youwillalsoberesponsiblefortheproduction andmanagementofup todate anddetailedKPI and BMIdatain respect to your workstream.

Your core duties & responsibilities will include:

Strategic Leadership: Act as the lead manager to support the implementation of targeted initiatives, ensuring full integration and adoption across all operational teams. Champion a culture of customer service excellence for all clients, companies and third parties and drive strategic initiatives requested by the Senior Management Team. Team Management: Delegate workloads within the team to maximise productivity and ensure the smooth running of tasks and activities. Implement cross-training initiatives to enhance team capabilities and efficiency. Quality Assurance: Collate management information and conduct quality assurance control checks to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and operational excellence. Prioritise and assist in team workloads to meet customer and regulatory requirements, driving continuous improvement within the team. Performance Monitoring: Manage and monitor performance metrics for your teams, utilising them to drive and improve performance. Create and maintain a high-performance culture within the team, encouraging continued personal development. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to CIL's processes and procedures, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the departmental risk management framework. Address any issues and report findings in line with agreed policies and procedures. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement within the team, striving to eradicate errors and maintain operational excellence through process delivery.

What you’ll need to succeed:

Experience:Minimum 24 months experience in a similar role is required. Experience within an offshore financial services organisation is advantageous Proven Leadership: Minimum 24 months experience in a leadership role, having managed a large team Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues alike. Tech Savvy: While technical skills are advantageous, your proficiency in IT coupled with your strong organisational skills will ensure operational success. Commitment to Excellence: Upholding our values of excellence, integrity, and innovation will be at the core of everything you do, driving faultless service and ethical conduct. Bachelors Degree and/or an AML or Compliance Qualification, coupled with formal management training/qualification. Sound knowledge and experience in the below technical skills

Full understanding of current regulatoryandgroupAML/CFT requirements.

Demonstratable experience conductingcustomerduediligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD)processes. This includes collecting and assessing CDD/EDD against regulatory policy requirementsinlinewitharisk- based approach.

Relevantanduptodateknowledge of AML/CFT international regulatory standards and requirements.

This includes a strong understandingofSourceofFunds and Source of Wealth requirementswiththeabilityto validate and verify both using independentsources.

Understand and apply client risk assessment standard methodology; identifying and recommending any incidences where standards could be challengedbasedonastructured, thought-outrisk-basedapproach.

Identifying and assessing high risk indicators and mitigating where appropriatethroughtheclientrisk

assessment.

Abilitytounderstandtheidentified risk of individual cases and the ML/FT and reputational impact of such risks.

Abilitytoundertakeanddocument an effective customer risk assessment resulting in an appropriate risk rating.
