B2B Sales Consultant

Location: Gauteng (with travel to Free State, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West, KZN)
Job Type: Permanent, Hybrid (Office and Travel)
Salary: R30 000 -R35 000 pm
Position Overview: The role will be based in Gauteng and requires a resource with at least 3 years of experience in commodity sales, especially in dealing with large industrial/B2B customers at head office/buyer level. The ideal candidate will have a strong marketing and sales personality, as the role involves maintaining excellent relations with clients, as well as on-the-ground relationship development and management, which necessitates regular travel. The company provides all the tools necessary to fulfil your functions adequately as well as reimbursement for travel at the relevant company rate per km travelled with your own vehicle.
The successful candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of the B2B and Manufacturing industry.
Overview:
A leading dairy company, specializing in cheese, butter, and powdered goods, seeks a driven B2B sales representative. The role requires at least 3 years of experience in commodity sales, strong negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to managing relationships with industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage key accounts and achieve sales targets
- Regular client visits, cold calling, and pricing negotiation
- Assist with marketing activities and customer stock management
- Coordinate orders with the Johannesburg depot
- Travel to maintain customer relationships
- Minimum 3 years in sales (commodity products, preferably dairy)
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
- Valid driver’s license, own car and willingness to travel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
